As a Registered Social Worker with over 17 years of experience in counselling, psychotherapy, and community mental health, I support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, cultural identity challenges, and major life transitions. I believe that every person holds the inner capacity to heal and thrive, even during times when life feels overwhelming. My goal is to create a respectful and collaborative space where you can explore what you’re experiencing while building the insight and tools needed to move toward wholeness.

My work is grounded in a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach. I draw from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, integrating additional evidence-based practices when helpful. Sessions focus on understanding the patterns behind emotional pain while developing practical strategies that support long-term wellbeing.
At HWP, counselling is part of a broader approach to wellbeing. Reshma collaborates with other practitioners across counselling, coaching, and holistic services to help clients integrate emotional healing with practical support in daily life. This whole-person model helps ensure that progress made in therapy can carry forward beyond the counselling session.
Wednesdays 9 AM – 5 PM EST
Additional weekday appointments based on availability.
Personally, I find cooking quite therapeutic and often pick recipes with ingredients I can have fun working with.
