Hello, I'm Taylor

I am a Registered Social Worker and trauma-informed yoga practitioner who offers mental health-focused yoga sessions designed to support grounding, emotional regulation, and connection with the body. My work blends clinical social work experience with therapeutic yoga practices to help clients navigate stress and reconnect with a sense of steadiness and self-awareness.

In our work together, clients experience me as

Calm · Compassionate · Grounded · Supportive · Attuned

My coaching approach

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed, combining somatic awareness, breathwork, and gentle movement with strengths-based social work principles. Sessions are designed to support nervous system regulation while helping clients explore how stress and emotional patterns show up in the body. Each practice is adaptable and paced according to what feels supportive for the client in that moment.

Working with me, you would learn to:

  • Develop tools for emotional regulation and stress management
  • Build awareness of the connection between body and emotions
  • Strengthen grounding and nervous system regulation
  • Cultivate self-compassion and inner steadiness
  • Reconnect with the body through safe, supportive practices

Training & professional development

  • Bachelor of Social Work (BSW)
  • Registered Social Worker (RSW)
  • 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YYT)
  • Trauma-informed yoga and somatic practice training

How my work fits into whole-person care at HWP

At HWP, body-based practices like therapeutic yoga can complement counselling and coaching. Taylor’s work supports clients in integrating emotional healing with physical awareness, helping progress made in therapy translate into everyday regulation and resilience.
